The test benches and the respective services are presented in the following:


Compressor test benches

TLK-Thermo GmbH currently has several compressor test benches in operation for the refrigerants R744 and R134a / R1234yf. These test benches are suitable for the stationary and dynamic investigation of refrigerant compressors. A wide range of tests are possible; from high frequency compressor indexing to the automated running of stationary measuring points.


Climatic chamber

Together with the Institute for Thermodynamics at the Technical University Braunschweig, TLK provides measurement services in a calorimetric climate chamber. The chamber-in-chamber test bench allows for the testing of climate and cooling systems and heat pumps at temperatures from approximately -20°C to +50°C. The climate chamber is designed to be able to test systems as large as bus or train A/C-systems or tractor-trailer refrigeration systems.

Test benches for other components

TLK-Thermo GmbH has further test benches for testing all the components in a typical refrigeration cycle in addition to the already mentioned compressor. The range of our services stretches from the testing of heat exchangers, expansion valves and collectors to the analysis of the explosive decompression of sealants. Test bench design

We offer our customers the development of new testing concepts based on expertise built on years of experience in the construction and operation of refrigeration test benches. We value a high degree of precision, which we develop and test using our TIL Suite models.

Development of hardware and electronics

If the appropriate hardware needed for new developments in the field of measurement technology is not available, we can develop our own components. From simple PWM generators through to CAN bus-based modular measurement sensors, we provide individual components and small series for our own use or on behalf of customers.
