Modelica Training:

The Modelica course is an introduction to the most important features of Modelica, including numerical aspects. With many practical exercises, the participants will learn how to design and implement Modelica libraries (not only within thermal science).

Modelica Advanced: If you already have basic knowledge, but would like to better understand the numerical solution process in Modelica simulators and systematically analyze emerging problems, then please contact us for an individual training session.

TIL Training

TIL Training:

The TIL training course is directed towards simulation and modeling specialists with basic knowledge of the Modelica programming language. It can be seen as an advanced course to the basic Modelica training.

TIL Advanced: If you already have experience with TIL, but would like to know about systematic procedures to make working with TIL even more efficient (e.g. by determining and eliminating simulation interruptions or reducing calculation times), please contact us and ask for an individual training session.

DaVE: Dates for training are available on request

The DaVE training course is directed towards people who would like to visualize different result data in a visually appealing way. During this several hours long course the extensive repertoire of instruments in DaVE will be presented and utilized together with the attendees by the help of application-related examples. The goal of this course: to become acquainted with the basic settings and functions of DaVE and to learn different visualization techniques to craft ideas for daily personal challenges.

Mobile Air Conditioning: Dates for training are available on request

The necessary basics of thermodynamics, heat transfer and climatic physiology are taught over the two-day training course. The air and heat flows in passenger areas and the climate control system and its components are discussed comprehensively. Participants will learn about the specific advantages and disadvantages of the refrigerant currently used and the alternatives. They deal with the climate control of conventional and electric cars, buses, trains, airplanes and ships. Alternative climate control concepts, such as Peltier or sorption, are presented and discussed in this course. The training will be offered in cooperation with the Technical University of Braunschweig, Institute of Thermodynamics.

Introduction to the ClaRa+ library: Dates for training are available on request

This training course is directed towards to people who deal with the simulation of dynamic energy systems. Using the ClaRa+ library, you will be able to model the dynamic behavior of power systems. The library covers a variety of components, which are required to describe the water-steam-cycle, the gas path from carbon dust fired boilers and heat recovery steam generators in terms of simulation.
During this 3-day course, the participants will be introduced to the ClaRa+ library, be able to use it and build systems by their own. A fundamental knowledge of common functional principles of the model description language Modelica is required for this course. This training will be performed in cooperation with XRG Simulation GmbH.
