- TIL Advanced
- Further training services
Modelica Training: New events coming soon
The Modelica course is an introduction to the most important features of Modelica, including numerical aspects. With many practical exercises, the participants will learn how to design and implement Modelica libraries (not only within thermal science).
Modelica TLK Energy GmbH: July 23rd - 24th, 2019 in Aachen
Our partner enterprise in the western region of Germany, TLK Energy GmbH, offers courses on Modelica. For more information please click here.
Modelica and Dymola LTX Simulation GmbH
Our partner enterprise in southern Germany, LTX Simulation GmbH, offers different courses on Modelica and Dymola. For more information please click here.
Modelica Advanced: Dates for training are available on request
Fundamental mathematical principles for system simulation in Modelica (or other languages) are clearly explained. The topics addressed consist of an introduction to the theory of linear differential equations, numerical solution of differential algebraic equations and handling of discontinuities in model equations. With the aid of acquired foundations, participants get a better understanding of the numerical solution process in Modelica simulators and thus are able to systematically analyze problems which arise. Moreover, new Modelica language elements like the Homotopy Operator and stream-connectors will be explained in detail.
TIL Training: New events coming soon
The TIL training course is directed towards simulation and modeling specialists with basic knowledge of the Modelica programming language. It can be seen as an advanced course to the basic Modelica training.
TIL TLK Energy GmbH: July 25th, 2019 in Aachen
Our partner enterprise in the western region of Germany, TLK Energy GmbH, offers courses on TIL. For more information please click here.
TIL Advanced: Dates for training are available on request
On the basis of concrete examples, systematic strategies will be acquired in order to make working with TIL models more efficient. Skills are taught, such as how to find reasons behind the termination of simulation calculations or unreasonably long computing times and how to solve these problems. Moreover, the modeling concepts employed for TIL will be explained in more detail.
DaVE: Dates for training are available on request
The DaVE training course is directed towards people who would like to visualize different result data in a visually appealing way. During this several hours long course the extensive repertoire of instruments in DaVE will be presented and utilized together with the attendees by the help of application-related examples. The goal of this course: to become acquainted with the basic settings and functions of DaVE and to learn different visualization techniques to craft ideas for daily personal challenges.
Mobile Air Conditioning: Dates for training are available on request
The necessary basics of thermodynamics, heat transfer and climatic physiology are taught over the two-day training course. The air and heat flows in passenger areas and the climate control system and its components are discussed comprehensively. Participants will learn about the specific advantages and disadvantages of the refrigerant currently used and the alternatives. They deal with the climate control of conventional and electric cars, buses, trains, airplanes and ships. Alternative climate control concepts, such as Peltier or sorption, are presented and discussed in this course. The training will be offered in cooperation with the Technical University of Braunschweig, Institute of Thermodynamics.
Introduction to the ClaRa library:
This training course is directed towards to people who deal with the simulation of dynamic energy systems. Using the ClaRa library, you will be able to model the dynamic behavior of power systems. The library covers a variety of components, which are required to describe the water-steam-cycle, the gas path from carbon dust fired boilers and heat recovery steam generators in terms of simulation.
During this 3-day course, the participants will be introduced to the ClaRa library, be able to use it and build systems by their own. A fundamental knowledge of common functional principles of the model description language Modelica is required for this course. This training will be performed in cooperation with XRG Simulation GmbH.
In addition, we offer training courses on TISC or other TLK software products, which we can individually adjust to your needs.
All training sessions can also be booked as in-house training.
We shall be delighted to give you further information or place you on our mailing list in order to regularly inform you about future training dates.
